Converting Outlook2003 .pst to Outlook2002I have some .pst files that were created in Outlook 2003. I need to use them
in Outlook 2002. I tried opening them in OL2003 and exporting them to a ..pst, but I get the same error when trying to open them in OL2002. "The file ...... is not compatible with this version of the Personal Folders information service." There is no conversion and the Unicode PST format for Outlook 2003 is not
compatible with earlier versions of Outlook. You must create a new ANSI format PST (old style) and copy or move all the items and custom folders in your Unicode PST into the ANSI one to make it available to earlier versions of Outlook. -- Show quoteHide quoteKen Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Absolute Beginner's Guide to Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Reminder Manager, Extended Reminders, Attachment Options http://www.slovaktech.com/products.htm "Jim Zeeb" <JimZ***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:F6CF605A-6240-4783-A151-784DDFF92530@microsoft.com... > I have some .pst files that were created in Outlook 2003. I also had an Archive file in v2003, so I created an archive in v2002 and opened it up with v2003. This Archive contained primarily Calendar entries. I did not see a way to SelectAll or Ctrl-A the calendar entries so I had to copy them one at a time. Fortunately there were only a few months to do. Thanks again.
