Management Studio cannot edit queriesthen installed SQL2005 Management Studio. Everything was fine. Then I installed SP2. I find that within Management Studio, the "New Query" button brings up a query editior, but I cannot input control characters (new line, backspace, delete etc). In addtition, if I bring up options (Tools-->Options), and then select Environment-->Keyboard, I get a DISP_E_EXCEPTION error. A full deinstall (including of .Net), reboot and reinstall does not help. This is the second time this has happened to me - a previous installation on a different laptop went the same way, although then I didn't associate it with the SP2 installation. Help! Stuart |
