Sql Server 2005 Profiler - Connections ClimbingI have an odd problem on my production system. We're running Sql Server 2005 Standard Edtn 64 bit in an Active-Passive clustered configuration. The system has 64 GB of RAM with 50 GB allocated for Sql. On an average day we show about 240 connections from the web servers and various others. When we run a trace using the profiler gui that is using just the standard template (columns and events) the connections shoot through the roof doubling and in one case tripling in a just a few minutes. Has anyone run in to this type of behavior and if so what is the issue? If not, were should I look for clues? Thanks Richard L. Dawson richard.daw***@tdcemail.com TranDotCom Solutions, LLC |
