Enterprise Manager Problemshave been occuring prior to our transition from SBS 2003 and after the transition. Now we have a domain controller, an Exchange server, and an application server that is hosting Great Plains. We are using the sql database that Great Plains provides and have not installed SQL Server on the application server or installed a database server. We are well within size of the sql database so we are don't expect to move over for sometime, if we ever do. With this in mind, on the domain controller, I installed only the SQL Server tools. The first issue that I have is in the wizard that creates the Maintenance plan. On the maintenance plan there is an option to delete older backups, but when I try to select an option to delete older backups there is nothing to select. Also, when I go into edit the maintenance plan, it has a number of errors occuring that seem to suggest some kind of corruption of data. I have tryed to uninstall and reinstall, but I still have the same problems. Any suggestions on how to set this up properly would help. Thanks, Dave |
