One of my client installed SQL Server 2005 from Small Business Server
package. I cannot find Management Studio there. We tried to add it via
reinstallation, checked SQL Tools which includes MS, but after several
seconds we got a message that nothing was changed and due to that nothing
was installed.
Finally we downloaded MS Express edition (free version) and installed it.
I was wondering if MS is shipped with any edition of SQL 2005.
I installed a developer edition of SQL 2005 on my developement machine and
MS was installed.

Thank you
Vovan

Management studio is included in the developer and express edition.
You might need to check if the "Management Studio" option in "Feature
Selection" installation window is selected (not red Cross marked)

So, as I understand you MS is shipped with 2 versions only - developer and
express. Am I right?
If so then SQL 2005  from a Small Business package doesn't have MS, right?
In this case I need to use express version. Correct?
As I said we tried to reinstall SQL and as I remember Tools was selected and
there was MS listed, but on the next step we got a message that nothing was
changed from the previous installation.
MS was not found.

Thank you

In SQL Server express edition you are getting SQL Server Management
Studio Express (SSMSE), a subset of SQL Server Management Studio.
