Maintenance plans not installedSQL 2005 workstation components, configuration tools, analysis services,
performance tools & management studio installed. Can't find maintenance plans. Have installed full integration services. What specifically needs to be installed in 2005 to get to maintenance plans? You have to create the maintenance plans. There are NO maintenance plans
until you create some. Right click in the Maintenance Plan window, and select [Maintenance Plan Wizard]. It will 'walk' you through the process. For more information about Maintenance Plans, see "Maintenance Plans" and "Maintenance Plan Wizard" in Books on Line. -- Show quoteArnie Rowland, Ph.D. Westwood Consulting, Inc Most good judgment comes from experience. to use the new SSIS maintenance plans (you can still use xp_sqlmaint manually however). With SQL2005 SP1 this is no longer the case as long as you have the managment tools installed. can suggest is removing the management tools, reinstalling them and reapplying SP1. If that doesn't wotk then you should open a case with PSS.
