SQL Server Management Studio 32 bit on 64 bit Media: not includedHi,
SQL Server Management Studio is not installable from 64-bit media on a 32 bit client. Where can I get the 32 bit version? Do I really have to buy the developer version additionally (this is 32/64 bit)? The express-version works, but does not have all functionality. Frank All editions ship with the same 32bit client tools -including SSMS.
Look for SQLWB.exe in the install path. -- Show quoteArnie Rowland, Ph.D. Westwood Consulting, Inc Most good judgment comes from experience. But I still
cannot install SSMS on a 32 bit client, although we have purchased a 64bit license of sql-server. The installer on the DVD only accepts 64bits systems. Simple copying the files from the install path does not work.
