Font in SQL pane in 2005SQL 2005's management studio, in the query designer, typically shows 4
panes just like the old Enterprise Manager: Diagram, Criteria, SQL, and Results. I was hoping that with SQL 2005 I would finally be able to change the font in the SQL pane from the horrible Arial to something more readable like Verdana. I messed around with Tools/Options/Fonts and Colors, but nothing seems to affect the font of the SQL pane. Also, the font in the Criteria pane is too large. What am I missing? Thanks. David Walker David,
The default font is New Courier, not Arial by the way. Try Tools>Options>Environment>Fonts and Colors to change the font etc in the way you desire. I *hate* the Arial font; it's too hard to read things that have lowercase i's and l's and to tell rn apart from m. I was hoping that this would be ONE THING that would be an improvement in SQL 2005 over SQL 2000. Too bad.
