Copying a database with the "Copy Database Wizard"I am using the Copy Database wizard to copy an SQL 2000 database to a 2005
database on another server. When I get to the "Schedule the Package" wizard and click "Next>" I get an error that says "Proxy account has to be selected to proceed further". However, the Integration Services Proxy Account box on the previous screen is disabled? What am I doing wrong? -- Jerry J The help screen for "Schedule the package" says, "To create a proxy account
for SSIS package execution, in Object Explorer, expand SQL Server Agent, expand Proxies, right-click SSIS Package Execution, and then click New Proxy." Do I do this on the destination server or the source server with SQL Server 2000? When I expand Server Agent on the source server I do not see 'Proxies' ? I am the administrator of the destination server, however, how do I know if I have proper permission on the source server? -- Show quoteJerry J "Jerry J" wrote: > > I am using the Copy Database wizard to copy an SQL 2000 database to a 2005 > database on another server.
