How to avoid save prompts whenI'm enjoying the new SQL Server Management Studio and have set up some
external tools (e.g., Perforce) to work with the Tools menu which is a nice shortcut. However, an annoyance is that whenever I try to run the external tools commands, I am prompted with save dialogs for any new query windows that I have open. I only care about the active window and don't neccessarily want to save every new query window I might have open. Is there any way to avoid this? (marcsto***@yahoo.com) writes:

There is already bug filed about this: http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/productfeedback/viewfeedback.aspx?feedbackid=754559ad-c46e-4de5-ac2f-6c0a2adb1f28 you can add your vote to it, if you like. -- Erland Sommarskog, SQL Server MVP, esq***@sommarskog.se Books Online for SQL Server 2005 at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sql/2005/downloads/books.mspx Books Online for SQL Server 2000 at http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinfo/previousversions/books.mspx |
