Problem Viewing SQL2000 Tables Definition chmHi,
I have the systabl.chm compiled HTML help file from the Resource Kit. I was able to view the table definitions before the MS06-001 problem surfaced. Now I just get an Action cancelled screen saying Internet Explorer was unable to link to the web page. Trying to access any .chm files with the Microsoft HTML help executable gives the same problem. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks Chris On further testing this is happening for .chm files on networked drives. I
can still see the Windows Help files on my C:drive. I just cannot see ones on networked drives. Latest update: If the .chm file has a left and a right pane you will see the right pane details when it is on a networked drive and see the left pane details when the .chm file is copied to a local drive. This appears true for XP SP2 patched and W2K3 patched. If the .chm file is compressed it show both panes properly. My trouble comes from the fact that my .chm file only has one pane and I cannot see the text whether it is on my local drive or a networked drive. Copying a good .chm file from my local drive to a networked drive causes the left pane to be seen with an error in the right pane. Very strange. I was able to copy the 'chm from the network to the root of a local drive and I can now view it correctly.
