Management Studio oddity (Bug?)I am unable to modify any table valued function from mangement studio. I am
the system administrator for this database and wrote the function. Query analyzer allows me to edit it. Dows anyone had similar experiences? Error message: "Property QuotedIdentifierStatus is not available for UserDefinedFunction '[dbo].[BreakApartStr]'. This property may not exist for this object, or may not be retrievable due to insufficient access rights. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo)" I followed the link to the Microsoft web page, but it had no more information. Thanks for your help, Mark Mark (M***@discussions.microsoft.com) writes:

As I understand, the bug exhibits only when you connect to SQL 2000. -- Erland Sommarskog, SQL Server MVP, esq***@sommarskog.se Books Online for SQL Server 2005 at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sql/2005/downloads/books.mspx Books Online for SQL Server 2000 at http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinfo/previousversions/books.mspx |
