Cannot close service.cnf

I have not updated this web site in 5-6 months.  I updated a photograph
today and when I tried to publish I got the error:

Server errorCannot close file: "service.cnf"

I checked the MS archives and found article 301466 which says it is a server
space issue at the service provider.

I logged on to the ISP and there is more than 500 MB available.

It must be some other issue but I am not able to locate what it might be.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

TIA, GWB

Contact your web host and ask them to run server health check. The server could be out of Temp
space.

It can also mean that the server your site is hosted on is running low on or
is out of space - check with your hosting company.

Thanks for the help.  You were right, some type of rebalancing of servers
had taken place in the past and the partition size was supposed to be
enlarged but missed the update.

Once updated, problem solved.

Thanks for the knowledge.
