Forcing .doc hyperlink to open in Word

Does anyone know if it is possible to force a .doc hyperlink to open in Word, instead of Internet Explorer when using FrontPage 2003?  I keep getting the File Download prompt from IE when I click on the link, and I don't want that anymore.  I think if I get it to open in Word, I may not get that prompt.

I know how to get rid of the hyperlink prompts in Office2k3 on a single computer, but that doesnt help my problem, as this html document will be passed around on CD, and I can't alter every computer it will be used on.  THANKS! -- PallidaMors ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Posted via http://www.forum4designers.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ View this thread: http://www.forum4designers.com/message144731.html

That is entirely up to the users settings.
Nothing you can decide.
