Sending email using MAPI to MS exchange from UnixIs there a library to do this? I've looked at Brutus - but it looks like overkill. Besides, if i'm not mistaken, it runs on Windows and you connect to it using corba from Unix. And I don't have admin access to the Exchange machine to run such a beast. There are a lot of tools to download mail using MAPI but no tools to SEND email using MAPI. Gnome Evolution can access MS Exchange, but does it send mail using MAPI? Basically I want to send email just like Outlook does from a background Unix process. Can anyone help? -paul Hello,
if you just want to send emails, why don't you use SMTP to communicate with Exchange? We can't fix it - beaurocracy - y`know? See my reply to Peter below. And I mean the political definition of "assurance" not the technical definition. -paul Show quote > Best regards, > Henning > > "Paul Sheer" <psh***@icon.co.za> wrote in message > > news:1178698125.921957.271030@n59g2000hsh.googlegroups.com... > > > Hi there, > > > Is there a library to do this? > > > I've looked at Brutus - but it looks like overkill.
