How do I downgrade from build 1378 to 832?I installed VS2008b2 and as part of that got .Net framework 2.0.50727.1378.
since we use 2.0.50727.832 in our development work and the two versions are not 100% compatible (e.g. SortOrder is defined in two places in 1378), I would like to downgrade to 832 again. How do I do that? I tried removing the framework, but that is not allowed. I tried re-installing, had no effect. Ideas, anybody? Thnx in advance for any help. Regards, Faedros Hi Faedros,
Try to follow these steps: http://blogs.msdn.com/usisvde/archive/2007/08/13/resolution-wpf-stops-working-with-vs-2008-beta-2.aspx Regards, Alex [TechBlog] http://devkids.blogspot.com F> I installed VS2008b2 and as part of that got .Net framework F> 2.0.50727.1378. since we use 2.0.50727.832 in our development work F> and the two versions are not 100% compatible (e.g. SortOrder is F> defined in two places in 1378), I would like to downgrade to 832 F> again. Thnx for the input. But the link you posted explains how to get som Windows KB hotfixes to work together with VS 2008 - not how to downgrade the .Net 2.0 framework. Regards, Faedros Found a solution myself. The 2.0 Framework can be removed with a nice little
tool, which can be found on http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2006/05/30/611355.aspx /Faedros |
