Service running InfinitelyHi,
I'm developing a service that should run infinitely and should not be stoppable. The user (any user even admin) should not be able to stop/terminate the service. Is there any way? or should I go for a normal other than service? Any recommendations are appreciated. thanks AFAIK, the only way to do what you want would be to use Windows Embedded
(XP) an build a system image that does not include the Control Panel and other access to the Administrator Tools -- I suspect that there is no practical way to do it otherwise. function(I don't know the signature of the function but I am talking about a function which is called whenever somebody stops the service!!) and just ignore the stop command.
