Cannot Install .net Framework 1.1 - RegSvcs.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services

Hello,

I am trying to isntall .net Framework 1.1 that I'm getting from
Microsofts website...

When I run the settup file I get an error message:

RegSvcs.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id =0xb18 (2840), Thread id=0xb0c (2828).

and

Process id =0xf0c (3852), Thread id=0x904 (2312).

Could anyone provide any help or direction about how to solve this
issue....

What OS are you trying to install it on? Have you checked the installation
log for the Framework (in your Temp file folder)?
