WIA to .NetAnyone know why WIA has not been moved to .Net? As best as I can tell, the
current WIA (WIA automation) is a pre-XP designed API. Yes, I know about the com interop stuff - it does not work for the real world. Are there any inexpensive alternatives? I worked for a company that purchased 3rd party components and after going through about 4 of them we concluded the WIA win32 stuff was better. But our products are in .Net and does not seem to be any good alternatives. Mike Partain wrote:
