Unable to go back to default profile after creating a new one

I needed to put password protection on my computer which at that time had no
profiles created, I added a profile and accessed it okay. However I realised
that all my information such as Outlook with all the saved emails and
contacts was not there. When I tried to return to the original where there
was no profile to begin with I was unable to do so. It is not listed as a
profile that I could switch to and I am completely stuck as to how I can get
to it. When I checked the files in Explorer. I saw that the users included
Administrator and my new profile. Below that was a name and clearly the
information pertaining to my original. So, it is still there but can't be
accessed. Any help would be appreciated.
