PC won't start automaticly after re-startWhile I am signed into Windows if I "re-start" my PC,(not Turn Off) it closes
Windows and goes through it's normal rebooting process before it should re-open the login window once again of it's own accord, except as it's coming back on it will not get to the login window on it's own(automatically). I have to hit the "Space Key" on my keyboard for it to complete the boot process and reach the login window where I can then sign back in. I've tried everything I know, but of no use. I've cleared the CMOS, and removed onboard cell battery several seconds and reinserted it, I've reinstalled (upgraded) my OS Windows XP Pro, updated the LCD Monitors driver, Power scheme is set to Home/Office, no Hibernation, My graphics card is "NVIDIA Geforce FX 5500" and I've disabled the onboard integrated graphics which I have also tried using but with the same result. My system is "HP Pavilion a867c Desktop PC, flat panel LCD Monitor f1903, 800 MHz Front side bus, Asus motherboard PTGD1-LA, with 3 GB of PC3200 DIMM memory, and Power Supply is "AC input voltage (47-63 Hz) 100-127V/8A,200-240V/4A,DC output wattage: 300 Watts. Like I said, I've tried allot of websites and everything I know how to do but with zero results. On Thu, 05 Apr 2007 17:38:01 -0700, Sentinel
