Hi,

   I need to develop a web application where we can search and display
records from a remote mySQL database having records consisting of  file paths
to audio files stored in that pc. I need to develop the entire thing from
scratch. Please tell me how to set up a web server that will allow a client
to access, search the files from mysql database and stream them from their
respective folders on the server, to be able to play from anywhere over the
internet. I am a newbie.. Please provide me with appropriate links to set up
the server, configure ip address etc. Also the procedure of domain
registration. And also the asp.net concepts to do the above.
