Visual Studio 2003 and Javascript help...Hi,
I'm using Visual Studio 2003 to develope a Web-form application. This application required me to do some Javascripting. Now my Javascrip is not exactly what you would good - I need lots of help and explanations etc... High levels of variable transparence etc. Because of this, I found the whole deugging routine quite difficult with VS2003 and Javascript. For example, the intelligent completion thingy works but does not provide an explanation of the methods etc... I was wondering is there a plug-in that can enhance VS2003's Javascript development ability? Any comments/suggestions/user-experiences much, much appreciated. Cheers & thanks Al. Hello almu***@altavista.com,
The support of debuggin JS in vs 2003 is weak You can use: 1) "debugger;" instruction in your JS code to put breakpoint 2) "Firebug" pluging for FireFox with allows you to debug JS --- WBR, Michael Nemtsev [C# MVP]. No need for the nasty "debugger" keyword. For Firefox, better than Firebug you have Venkmanm, which is a full blown JavaScript debugger. HTH, Laurent |
