OS Support for .NET Framework 3.0 Runtime

The current release of the .NET Framework 3.0 Runtime lists the
following as systems it supports...

Supported Operating Systems: Longhorn (Windows Code Name) ; Windows
Server 2003 Service Pack 1; Windows Vista; Windows XP Service Pack 2

Does anyone know if Microsoft has any plans to provide support for any
other operating systems such as Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows
98/95 ?

No, thats not planned. Those system will not be supported.

They are not supporting any OSes from last century.
