Find a process using a specific COM port handle

Hi,

I was wondering if somebody here knows how to find a process using a
specific serial port handle. My application uses serial communication
and there is another application that holds the handle that I am trying
to aquire ...

I need to find this application, and terminate it or at least force it
somehow to release the file handle. Jeez, that is a lot of Win32 API
terminology - and I am not strong enough with that - I looked up the
EnumProcesses() from psapi.dll but can't get it to work.

Would appreciate very much.
