Proxy servers and .NETIs there any way in the BCL to detect what proxy server settings are
configured through IE (i.e. Tools-Internet Options->Connections tab->LAN Settings->Use a proxy server for your LAN...)? Furthermore, if a proxy server is problematic (i.e. non-existant or is intermittant), is it possible for the BCL to distinguish between a bad network connection (e.g. a disconnected NIC) and a bad proxy server (e.g. unreachable proxy)?
