BACKGROUND PROCESS APPEAR ON TASKBAR

The Howey

I was using IE6 when I had a problem that a number of additional windows
appeared on the taskbar. I have since investigated these windows and they
seem to be background processes for applications I had running when IE6
crashed - has anyone seen this problem before and if so any ideas what caused
it?
