Can I run two versions of .NETFramework on my computer?

I am not a programmer, so please consider me ignorant.

Can I have .NETFramework v1.1 and 2.0 on my machine simultaneously?

I have installed ACT! 9.0 and I believe it wants . NET v2.0.  When I
uninstalled v1.1 and installed v2.0, I get a error message when I boot my
machine.  Apparently, some software is looking for 1.1.

Again, can I install both?

Thanks

Yes.  They co-exist just fine.

Adriano .NET
Yes you can,
and to check if everything is fine just check that you have Start ->
Administrative Tools -> Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Configuration (and the
same but -> Wizards) and Start -> Administrative Tools -> Microsoft .NET
Framework 2.0 Configuration.
Furthermore you can see it following the path
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\ and you'll see two or more subdirs named
v1.1.4322 (for the 1.1 version) and v2.0.50727 (for the 2.0 version).

Ask if you need further help.

Regards.
