Non English in Web

Hi,

I would like to crate a web appication using .Net framework. I want to make
a [my native language eg:- Malayalam] - English dictionary. User should be
able to see corresponding malayalam charecter when he/she type english keys
on keyboard.He should be able to see english meaning whenevr he submit the
request.
If any one can give me complete tutorials that will be greate. My knwledge
is little about this charecter conversion.What are the technology should I
use for this project?

To me this sounds like a monumental task as you are seeking to have not only
character conversion done, but translation as well. Are you sure you aren't
biting off much much more than you can chew?

Scott,

I will be using a datbase to store data for translation. I just want to find
out a way to convert character just to view my native language
