Building .Net 3.0 on Server2003On my Server 2003 image I have installed vs2005, an earlier Orcas
(wsextwfx.msi), the 6.0 Windows .Net SDK, the .Net 3.0 framework (dotnetfx3.exe)and now I'm trying to install the latest Orcas. But I get an error message that says I need the .Net 3.0 runtime installed first - but I have that when I installed dotnetfx3.exe. What might be wrong? -- Regards, Gary Blakely Hello Gary,
Would you please let us know the exact Version and Published Date for the copy of Orcas you are working with? And, the latest release of .NET 3.0 framework is at : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=10CC340B-F857-4A14- 83F5-25634C3BF043&displaylang=en You may try this first to see if the problem is cause by a earlier copy of .NET framework 3.0 on your computer.
