Ajax Beta 2 a joke?I downloaded the beta 2 and the sample apps.
The samples don't even compile. Can't find System.Web.Preview.dll. Is Ajax some kind of a joke? -- Arne Garvander (I program VB.Net for fun and C# to get paid.) According to someone I saw speak last night about Ajax (and Google maps,
it was a cool talk), there are two parts that you need to download from ajax.asp.net. One is the regular ajax extensions, the other is the CTP. This is stuff they didn't fit into version 1.0, and includes the System.Web.Preview dll. I went to http://ajax.asp.net and clicked on the downlaod button for the beta 2 for asp.net ajax 1.0 (used to be called Atlas). At the bottom of the page is this link for the CTP. I assume it's the right thing, they're calling it Ajax Futures CTP. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=D7101C1A-5993-4F70-9944-4B98F312502D&displaylang=en Robin S. ---------------------------------------------------- Show quote "Arne Garvander" <ArneGarvan***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:31DBCA7D-C07C-44C3-B62D-B1C067936393@microsoft.com... >I downloaded the beta 2 and the sample apps. > The samples don't even compile.
