Panda Platinum Internet Security 2006 blocks my openfiledialoghere is another issue i found. When i try to show an openfiledialog in my
application withh panda antivirus activated it blocks indefinitely. when i pause the debugging and look at the call stack i find that the last entry of the stack is about the PavSHook.dll, a dll of the panda antivirus runtime, i suppose. What can i do to avoid this panda issue?? : ) Mnay thanks Local or remote machine. I suspect it's a remote machine. If so, disable
the Panda firewall and try again. If that works, you need to reset the panda firewall and then allow your application through it. BTW: I also use Panda 2006, but not the firewall as I've had too many problems with it. Mike Ober. application is executing. Its strange. When i call to showdialog the application hangs and panda dont show me any message. When i close panda antivirus and execute my application again the dialog shows up when i push the button correctly but it goes very slow (as i stated in other discussion here) And yes, panda antivirus is giving me many troubles. I have also tried some time before to acces serial port and when i call SerialPort.Open() the application hangs too. And it was also Panda's fault. The annoying thing is that panda dont show me any message indicating that my program tries to access protected resources or something like that. It only hangs my application silently. do you know something about this? Show quote "Michael D. Ober" wrote: > Local or remote machine. I suspect it's a remote machine. Their AV portion is excellent. Their firewall
is lousy. Mike.
