I can instrument my apps and emit the data through WMI without a problem.  I
have an instance of MOM 2005 watching the application and its recording the
performance/instance/event information without any problems at all.

So, here's the question....

When the WMI events are recorded in MOM, there are attributes for EventType
and Category (similar to the attrigutes present in the Event log).  I don't
know how to expose my WMI events in such a way that those values will be
populated.
Granted, I can have Category and EventType Properties to my event classes,
and those are being recorded in MOM.  Therefore I can do some analytics later
on.  However, I can't filter the event list by parameter Values.

Anyone have any ideas?  Or does anyone know of a group that might be better
suited for this question??
