unable to start debugging on the web server, access deniedI've just installed visual studio.net 2003 and get access denied when I try
to debug my vb.net project. I've read all the mdsn articles and serched google about how to configure the browser and corrupted web.config file and all that. I'm logged in as administrator. This is a lab box and recently built. The only issue that may be out side the norm, I installed .net on the D drive and this is a 2000 domain controller w sp 4. Yes I know I should not be doing it this way but don't have unlimited funds and can't have a separate server for everything... -- The Netmeister Hi Netmeister
Can you post your message here? Did you have enough rights in the .NET-Directory for you .NET-Framework? IUSR and IWAM accounts members of domain admins.... So they should have full access to all directories. I've run studio.net on other boxes and never had a problem. This it the first time I put it on a domain controller... also I've configured the web server for anonymous connections as some articles have suggested ( its that way by defauilt). and I log in as domain admin..... In fact all settings are at their default settings except the iuser and iwam accounts Thanks..... -- Show quoteThe Netmeister "Stefan Schelling" wrote: > Hi Netmeister > Can you post your message here? > > Did you have enough rights in the .NET-Directory for you .NET-Framework? > > Kind Regards > Stefan Schelling > "netmeister" <netmeis***@discussions.microsoft.com> schrieb im Newsbeitrag > news:DC79C1C7-F364-4C93-A96A-0CDAFC17CFBC@microsoft.com... > > I've just installed visual studio.net 2003 and get access denied when I > > try > > to debug my vb.net project.
