Austin Engineering and Drafting firm currently seeking qualified
candidates to work on a diverse set of ongoing projects. We have over
16 building inspectors that use a handheld tablet pc with stylus which
enables them to do paperless inspections, that can be printed anywhere
in the world in real time. Historically this was a very wasteful
situation, causing for entire storage facilities to house these
documents. Today, this is all done digitally, and that's where the
pencil and rulers of the drafters of yesterday changes into your career
of tomorrow!

We currently have 4 survey crews (yes like George Washington) all
surveying as many as 30 residential lots every day, and we just got a
truck for the 5th crew, they have grown so fast we could barely get
them setup with Dell Laptops and Verizon WiFi cards in time. They are
going to need some applications to help make their lives easier; do you
have an idea? Great, bring it with you to your interview.

Stress free coding environment. There is no red tape or other hurdles
in your way, the development lifecycle is:
1. Idea
2. Confer
3. Code
4. Test
5. Deploy
6. Repeat

Our only goal is to increase existing revenue streams and perhaps get
the IT Department to become a new stream altogether.

We are currently looking for a full time employee, requirements
include:

· ASP.Net Programming (Based in C# .Net 2.0 with SQL Server Express).
· At least 2 or 3 years in ASP.Net and/or C#
· Solid knowledge of page lifecycle and User Controls.
· DHTML/Javascript - Ajax experience would be cool!
· Various IT Tasks (Setting up a machines, maintaining intranet site
content etc).
· Team player who can jump in on a plan and move with it.
· Self-starter/learner is always a plus!
· Basic IT knowledge of Windows Server 2003, XP Professional etc.
· Ability to wear many hats, we always have something to do so lets
get it done already.

Duties would include:

· Various Installation/Troubleshooting issues around 40+ user office
environment. Breaks up the day ;)
· Website development, working on existing source base from
www.multiformity.org (I am still working on the site, it should be
fully functioning soon)

Go as far as you want, we need people who are as motivated as we are to
get results.

We are not currently sponsoring visas or anything similar, we need
people from Austin direct.
