Winsock / .NET 2.0 Asynchronous Sockets - McAfee ProblemsNot sure if I have posted this in the right section. We’ve been developing anti-porn software using C# .NET which verifies web access via a proxy service through the user’s web browser. The application works fine with all major security products on the market apart from McAfee Privacy Suite. I think the problems are with the TCP/IP driver McAfee uses to replace the standard Windows versions. It seems to have issues with Winsock 2.0 and Asynchronous Sockets/.NET 2.0 Asynchronous Sockets. The problem appears to go away if you remove the McAfee Privacy portion of the application. Anyone know of a possible fix? Thanks for your help, Imran Mohammed PurePages Group Ltd |
