GAC entries for Crystal Reports + database login problem

Hi all,

I don't know if this is posted to the right group, but anyway. I'm
actually having some troubles making crystal reports displaying my
reports correctly. Before to explain the problem i'd like to be clear
about something :

- If i drill down my GAC entries, i can see many entries for Crystal
each of them twice, once in 9.1.5 version, once in 9.2.3 version. So
first question, how and when did those entries get installed ? How to
remove them properly and reinstall ?

The problem is simple. When referencing the 9.1.5 crystal dll's
version, everything works perfectly on my machine. But when deploying
on another machine, the user falls on a database login screen (although
we are never using any database connection, this is a well know problem
by CR folds apparently...).

What i did then, is to download and install the latest merge modules
directly from Business objects website.
But what is irrelevant and really painful, if i reference what i
suppose the new dll's versions, i.e. the 9.2.3 in my project and then
run the application on my machine, the CR viewer launches but this
time, no report is displayed !!!

Any idea from anybody, would be really appreciated !
