Hi,

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong forum to ask this question...

Does anyone know if Win2003 ships with .NET framework v2.0? Or is .NET v2.0
part of a subsequent service pack?

Kind regards
DJ

2.0 was released at the end of 2005 so I doubt that Win2003 includes it.
..NET is never part of a service pack. It's part though of what is available
from Windows Update...

R2 does, not the original release.

It hard to say that it's really R2 windows 2003, because often R2 ships as
just addon, you can install in on your own Win2003 + SP1 system
