Hi,

I have a .net setup project, on building throws following error

An error occurred while validating.  HRESULT = '80004002'


I followed many threads on similar issues on google groups, MS support
I tried all suggested methods to resolve them

   - I tried re-registering MergeMod.dll
   - I did re-installed VS
   - I checked registry entries

still problem persists.
I am running XP Professional SP2 and VS 2005 Professional Edition

I am wondering what could be the problem here
any suggestions is welcome
