VS 2005 not responding when selecting certificate for signing

Hi all,

I am facing with a fatal error when trying to sign a project output with a
certificate. Here is my problem:

I am using Visual Studio 2005 Professional edition. When I clicked 'Select
Certificate' in the Properties page to sign a project output, VS became not
responding. Eventually it need to be terminated prematurely.

Anyone knows how to resolve this error?
