Well, I don't know if it's my environment (but I'm willing to install it on
a completely clean XP if that helps), but with all the craches and
inconsistent errormessages I get, I think the product is unusable for a
'production' environment.

It probably is your environment. There are some small bugs I see in the
product, but nothing overwhelming and I find it less annoying than Visual
Studio .NET, which has been out for three years.
