Problem: Multiple Snippets displaying in Text Editor?

I have been installing some of th snippet .vsi files, including Microsoft's.

After doing this I startedgetting a choice of snippets when I right-click
and choose either 'Insert Snippet' or 'Surround With'.

Depending which one I choose, I may get the snippet or I may get message
saying that the path cannot be found.

This is probably a registry issue. But I have tried changing
LanguageExpansions keys in in both HKCU and HKLM and have probably made
things worse.

I am at my wit's end.
