How to know (in a user friendly way) which windows update have been applied?

Some feature in my program where not working very well and suddenly started
to work during the december - february period (I don't know exactly when, I
was not testing them at the time).
(the feature is using ScriptTextOut with a printer HDC which fails in
PrintPreview mode).

Now and for other reason as well, I do believe there is a windows update
which fixed my problem.
I don't know which one exactly because all the description of the update
seems either superficial or insufficient.

Anyway I wonder if there was way to ask the user which update / fixes are
installed on his computer.
I could think of 2:
- going on the windows update web site => view history
- lauch the uninstall program window and check show update..

But I wonder if there an EASY way to have them all summarized and, perhaps,
printed as well?
