.NET Framework data provider for firebird

Hi all,

I installed Visual Studio 2005 standard and when I click on new
connection (to connect to a SQL database) I get:

"An unexpected error occurred in the .NET Framework data provider for
firebird"

I tried deinstalling VS2005 completely but still get this message. The
firebird data provider is uninstalled long time ago (and I don't need
this). How can I fix this? Where do I need to look?
