.NET Framework 2.0 Beta 2I am trying to install the Enterprise Library 2.0 and am getting a
message telling me that it can't install it because I don't have .NET Framework 2.0. I have installed Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2, which includes .NET Framework 2.0 Beta 2. Is Enterprise Library 2.0 not compatible with the Beta 2 version of VS 2005? Thanks for any help... Dave No it's not.
Application requiring .NET 2 RTM won't work on .NET 2 beta 2. Furthermore you have to uninstall .NET beta 2 to install .NET 2 RTM. -- Show quoteRegards, Lloyd Dupont NovaMind development team NovaMind Software Mind Mapping Software <www.nova-mind.com> <girthy***@earthlink.net> wrote in message news:1139451140.883191.314780@f14g2000cwb.googlegroups.com... >I am trying to install the Enterprise Library 2.0 and am getting a > message telling me that it can't install it because I don't have .NET > Framework 2.0. I'll give it a shot (just got through downloading new and uninstalling old...) Dave ..NET 2.0 was released Nov 2006. Beta 2 is a build from last summer. The
Enterprise library runs on 2.0 RTM, not 2.0 beta 2. -- Show quoteGregory A.
