No dot net tab in IISHello all,
I am running Windows XP Pro. I have installed the .net framework and SDK v 1.1, and IIS is correctly installed. I don't have a .net tab under "Default website".. I have read other posts where the solution is to run aspnet_regiis -i, unfortunately this does not work for me. I have put my computer through a complete re-image already, hoping that would clear up the problem, but no luck. Any help appreciated... thanks. Dave Isn't the .NET Tab only for IIS 6.0 (XP has IIS 5.1)?

I have a VPC running here with Windows XP and VS 2005 installed. Obviously the .NET Framework 1.1 is installed by default, so... Anyway, it works with IIS 5.1, and only if the 2.0 is installed; 1.0 and 1.1 doesn't trigger it. I also have a VPC with Windows Server 2003 and IIS 6.0 installed. If only version 1.1 of the .NET Framework is installed then there's no ASP.NET tab. If I install version 1.0 of the .NET Framework (with 1.1 already installed), there's still no ASP.NET tab. However, if I install version 2.0 of the .NET Framework, I get the ASP.NET tab. -- Show quoteCarsten Thomsen Communities - http://community.integratedsolutions.dk --------- Voodoo Programming: Things programmers do that they know shouldn't work but they try anyway, and which sometimes actually work, such as recompiling everything.
