SOLUTION: OWA for Exchange 5.5 stops working after installing .NET Framework 2.0

I installed .NET Framework 2.0 Runtime on a computer which is also
hosting OWA for Exchange 5.5. After that, OWA stopped working. After
signing on, there was just a tiny messagebox showing up on the client,
saying that the connection can't be established.

First I installed all the latest hotfixes for Exch 5.5 and CDO 1.2.1 -
nothing helped. Then, in a last desperate attempt, I ran FileMon, and
saw that the system was trying to access a folder C:\WebTemp, which
didn't exist. There existed a folder C:\ExchSvr\WebTemp tough. I just
created the folder C:\WebTemp, and everything worked again... I find
this very mysterious, but my users are happy again... perhaps this
might help somebody else.
