Suddenly different behaviour

Hi all,

In my ASP.NET application, I have two xml files, who are written to disk,
both on a different way (one with serialize, and one with the XmlTextWriter).

Since yesterday we (sometimes!) get errors in our xml files: Some of the
quotes closing the attribures of the elements, are escaped (" becomes ").

There has nothing been changed in the code (the code runs at 20 different
places without a problem, until got this problem on one machine (where runs
only one instance of the application).
As far as I know, there has not been installed any updates, or new programs
on our server.

Anyone who has an idea where this problem can come from?
