crash 98
When I bootmy computer I get 2 dialogue boxws open. They state I should have
the above version of the dotnet framework. I have a Raedon 9600 AGP card and
all my updates are usually from windows update automatic. Most times I choose
Custom as multi lingual stuff is useless to me(I think). I buy PC World
regularly and if there is somethink of an update/upgrade nature related to my
system I install.
This recent development came mid December and I cannot remember how it came
about. Does anyone jkow what I shoul do please?

Here's my opinion.... Never do hardware updates from Windows Update. When
Windows Update says there's a hardware update available, always go to the
manufacturers website for details.

Here's the ATI page to get the update for XP....

Catalyst 6.1 Windows XP - Driver Download
https://support.ati.com/ics/support/KBAnswer.asp?questionID=640

Grab the "Catalyst Control Center Package" if you have broadband. If you're
on dialup, download each piece separately. I believe that should take care
of any ATI related problems.

Hi all,

ATI Catalyst Control Center application requires .NET Framework 1.1. Since
it is usually being installed along with the drivers, the installation of
..NET Framework 1.1 will also be required. But this should do no harm to the
operating system though. And it won't require the original poster to do any
programming :-)
