My crystal report is being generated from an ADO DataSet file that I create
before I create the report itself. The dataset is added to the same project
as the crystal report.
When i start to design the report, I have access to the Field View explorer
bar and the dataset is listed in datasets available.
After a while, I lose field view. Plus all items in the list of datasets
disappear from the list of datasets available to the report.

I discover the loss of datasets when I try to add fields to the report.

Has anyone fought and beaten this in the past themselves? If so then how do
i stop the project datasets being lost?

Change Connection String at runtime.
